Just a question.

So for the past few days I've been doing a lot of running and other exercise so I've been getting a lot of extra calories added to my calorie goal. Is it really nessicary for me to be eating these calories back? I feel like by eating the extra calories that I am wasting my time exerciseing. So I guess my question is What is the point of the extra calories and how am I losing weight by eating them back?

The short of it is that you may not need to eat 100% of them (everyone is different) to be successful with your health & weight loss goals but it's probably a good idea to consider eating at least some of them.0 -
MFP already calculated a deficit into your calorie goal. If you increase that deficit by not eating enough of your calories back your body will not use them efficiently... eventually decreasing your metabolism.0
