Les Mills Pump or Barbell & Bench?

I really loved TurboFire b/c of the music! However, I NEED something new! I also have ChaLean Extreme, but I think she talks too much in some of it. Just need something different. I'm almost 5'4 and weigh about 134 lbs. My goal weight is 118-124, BUT weight is not my primary concern. I basically just want to add in some weighted workouts to maintain muscle while I lose more fat.

So, is Les Mills Pump worth the price? Or should I get a bench/barbell/weights?

bump. I'm 5'3, about 128 with a goal of 118-120. I have a gym membership but it's always so crowded when I go and I don't want to deal with waiting for weights. Also, there seems to be an issue in finding the weights I need (seriously why kind of guy commandeer all the 20 lb dumbbells?)

So...I'm debating between les mills pump and barbell & bench. My apt is small though that's why I was leaning towards les milss but I didn't know if I'd get sick of it.

Definitely bench/barbell/weights. With Pump most people have minimal strength gains while lifting will give you more gains in a shorter amount of time.

My anecdotal experience is that my body has changed for the better after using the barbell to lift weights during the past three months while 2-3x/week Pump for six months didn't do much to change my body and my strength gains were very small.

If you are willing to lift heavy then do it, Pump will waste your time.

Barbell and bench. You'll get more ut of it in the long run, and you can change up what you do if you get bored. You should get a rack, too.
