    The rest of his family have all been okay as far as their backs go - (my husband's mother used to breed, she has mom & dad)... We have two of the boys and my SIL has the girl from their last litter. But Donner (our poor injured boy) has an extra vertebra, which just compounded the risk and sent him right in to needing surgery. It was so scary!!! (and expensive)

    No weiner (in more ways than one) but I have a boxer mix, Millie, that's her in my ticker, napping with my former foster, La La. La La has since found her forever home.

    We ended up building ramps for all of the furniture and entry doors for our guys. Our poor little guy had back surgery last year (he's only five!!), so we are really trying to keep them safe now.

    Mine had back surgery at 4. We have a house full of gates and ramps! :smile:

    My sis and a few friends work adoptions and run rescues. By your language I would assume you are somewhere in that mix too. Good on ya. Sorry you don't have a weiner...well, in just one way. :D

    I have a huge wiener! She needs MFP. Then I have a poodle, a chihuahua and a rat terrier.

    No weiners but both from rescue.....Airedale Terrier and a retired racing Greyhound, both girls.
