    Just hand weights. A pair.

I would suggest a few different weights. I use 3 and 5 lbs but find I could totally use 8lbs for others.

Two weights and a yoga mat/some sort of mat if you have a hard floor.

It's fantastic- my advice is to make sure you take days off! I did it 5 days a week.
And also- move up in levels when you're ready. Don't necessarily just do it 10 days a level and switch.
What I did was moved up after I could successfully keep up with the entire level and do all the reps. I.e. no stopping to catch my breath or going super slow. When I could keep up with one of the girls, then I moved up a level. Worked for me :)

    Have water next to you.
And if Jillian starts to piss you off (which she did to me) turn the volume off and turn up some music. After doing a level a couple times, you can pretty much keep up just by watching.

    Good luck!!!

A pair of hand weights (3-5 lbs I would say) and a mat preferably.

I found it good for beginners, I had never done any sort of strength training before and it helped me get back into workout out 6 days a week since its only 20 minutes a day.

I finished two rounds, then Ripped in 30. Now I've moved on to Insanity since I was looking for more of a challenge.
