First off, I'd like to say MFP is AWESOME!!! It's been a huge factor in me being successful; the other part being my motivation for change! :flowerforyou:
With that said, I joined MFP a little over 2 months ago. I think I last used the elliptical in Dec 09 and I kept the incline/resistance at 1/5 the whole time and then couldn't last 20 mins. Fast forward to today, and after spending many butt kicked mornings with Jillian Michaels, as an indirect result I did the elliptical today (first time since Dec) with incline/resistance ranging from 4/5 to 6/10 for 45 minutes straight, keeping the same pace!! I didn't slow down or stop!
It.... felt..... GREAT!!!!!
Just thought I'd share

Yeah, my feet are sore, but the rest of me feels great  I dont' do the elliptical very often because I don't have one here; I have to go to a gym. So the fact that I'm improving my cardio (I can see it in my running too) just by using Jillian Michaels DVDs (and soon to be P90X) is a huge motivator! Hopefully this will also help motivate someone else!AWESOME!!!! I can't do inclines...ugh...they hurt my feets

That's probably my favorite thing about working out ... I'm able to go longer and faster and harder than I could when I started. Even if I'm not losing, I know that I can run 5.5 mph for a good 2 or 3 minutes when before I could only run max 5.0 mph for about 30 seconds to a minute.
