    There is a subforum called Debatable Debating. Join it and freely discuss just about any divisive issue near and dear to your heart, including the one that just got canned.

    I'll never understand why people are eager to discuss these issues in Chit-Chat but can't be bothered to press a 'join' button so their threads won't get deleted. No offense. Just puzzles me.

    Whoops, my fault, I thought this was about another thread that got rather religious/political. They pop up all the time in this forum, then get deleted after several hundred posts by people eager to discuss. But most of those people don't join a forum where they freely can discuss religion and politics.
