(Makes 18 small scones)

Ingredients:
- 225g Self-Raising Flour
- Half a Teaspoon of Salt
- 55g Cold Butter Chopped
- 30g Caster Sugar
- 50g Chocolate chips (I also added 20g of White chocolate chips)
- 100ml Milk (Add more if needed)
- 1 Free range egg, Beaten

1. Pre-heat the oven to 200'C/ 425'F/ Gas 7

2. Place the flour, salt, butter & sugar into a bowl and using your fingers rub together until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.

3. Add the chocolate chips and milk and blend together until the mixture is well combined and comes together as dough.

4. Place the dough onto a floured surface, kneed lightly then pat down to 2.5cm/ 1 inch thick.

5. Using a pastry cutter ( I used a 2.4inch/ 58mm round cutter) Cut 18 small scones and place them on a baking tray lined with grease proof paper.

6. Beat the egg and then brush the tops of the scones.

7. Place them into the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the scones are well risen and golden brown . Leave to cool.

8. ENJOY :)

I got this recipe off the internet and originally made 6 large scones but because the calorie content was high I decided I would make smaller ones and per scone they only have:
-93 Calories
-13 Carbs
- 4 Fat
- 2 Sat Fat
- 2 Protein
- 0 Fibre

And they taste AMAZING :D
