What to do on game days??

I have been doing the obvious things for weight loss (diet and exercise) , and recently began a circuit weight training routine. I also play hockey in a men's league about 2 times a week. I'm wondering---on game days, should I still be doing the weight training?? My games start pretty late at night. 840 pm to 1040 pm sometimes. I don't want to be tapped out when it's game time. Any reccomendations?? Thanks!

This guy (Joe DeFranco) specializes in training athletes and this is one of his main programs. http://www.defrancostraining.com/articles/38-articles/65-westside-for-skinny-*kitten*-part3.html
Since you're an athlete I thought of this program first. Within the article he covers in-season training. The main program is more off-season for you, but make sure to read through to the end. Good luck!
