Migraines Helped Me Lose Weight

I was at my Neuro for a check up for my sleep apnea. I happened to mention my "sinus" headaches were worse and causing me to lose days of work (they are triggered by storms). He questioned me and said that they were migraines, not sinus headaches. He put me on Topamax and said that a side effect could be loss of appetite.

The medicine worked great-no more headaches-and the side effect worked great, too! I've lost 50 lbs in 5 months without exercise. I don't crave junk foods and am eating healthier. I found out Topamax is one of the ingredients in one of the new weight loss drugs approved by the FDA. I don't know what the other ingredient does, but this one works great!

I was on Topomax also!! I lost 20 lbs in a month. The only thing I hated about it was my fingers and hands felt like ants were constantly crawling on them, a real tingly feeling. Other than that It worked wonderful I got off it bc I got pregnant and was lucky for a year to not have any migraines but slowly they are creeping back up I will more than likey get back on it. Maybe it will have the same side effects again and help me lose some of this baby weight! :) haha

The new weight loss drug starts with a Q I can't remember the name but it is a combination of Topomax and Phentermine.
