What do you use to track you calories burned? I have an elliptical and a treadmill. Example: treadmill 30 minutes, fitness pal says I burn 70 cal. my odometer says i burn 160 and my treadmill says 275. What do I go with?

  • If you're exercising on your treadmill (for example), make sure you enter your specs before using the machine.
    Enter your weight, age,.. The calories burned that your treadmill machine is showing you are the ones you should use.
    Fitness pal info may be too generic and isn't necessarily as accurate.
    Another example: Don't use your pedometer on a treadmill machine. It will not show accurate results.
