i know this sounds ridiculous but hear me out:
my old best slept with my first love(boyfriend) a couple years back.
i can't explain the hurt i went through. probably helped with my weight gain.
anyway, we were always the same size, i was somewhat smaller. and i havent seen her since but someone told me she lost a lot of weight and that she looks great.
this totally sounds shallow, but whenever i'm working out or losing motivation, i think about her getting healthy and how i haven't! that usually kicks my butt back on track. and it gives me some extra motivation.
what's yours?

I'm more the look at thinspo type, and whenever I feel a lack of motivation I google pictures of Andy Biersack, Hayley Williams, Kate Moss (especially in her 'I beat obesity' shirt). If you don;t know some of these people, google them, I think they have amazing and motivational figures.
Also, my mum always tells me how huge I am compared to her when she was my age and even though she's wrong as she was a 12 and I'm a 6, I still find it gets me wanting to slim more.
I know size zero isn't what everyone aims for but when I found out I only need to lose 3 inches on my waist to get there, it was like a motivation bomb0 -

my mother was beautiful and tiny in her young age. i look at pictures and think "wow"
i want to be beautiful and tiny so that my future kids look at pictures and think the same.0 -
MIne is a couple of things. One I want to show a couple of people who "knew me when" that just because I'm older doesnt mean I can't look good. I travel a lot for business and there are people who I have known for many years that can be a bit full of themselves so I focus on surprising them the next time I see them. I also have a current picture and some older pictures pre-hip fracture when I was riding and playing soccer that get me focused to be back at that shape (although I cant really run any more). I'm not a small person - never have been and never will be but I know what and how I should look and will get back there.0

Mine is thinking about all of the people around me who don't seem to have to work that hard to look good and stay fairly thin. I just think about how much better than them I'll feel when I finally look like they do, because I'll have worked so much harder for it! That might sound really weird, but it works for me.0
