The GI bug; how to build back strength?

I'm a recently added member who has always lurked. I came down with the GI flu on Monday afternoon in a rather violent way & pretty much resided on the toilet or the floor next to it for the following 24 hours. Pretty sure I picked up the bug at the gym despite using a lot of hand sanitizer. So, I lost 6 lbs during this ordeal & have gotten my appetite back very slowly. I'm struggling to eat healthy b/c I'm just eating what I think I can tolerate. How do I ease back into my dieting and gym routine? I still don't feel up to par.

I had this on Sunday. Honestly, I just ate very mild things like soup, crackers, yogurt, etc. I didn't really worry about calories or healthiness. Now I'm getting back on track and eating healthy again. I wouldn't worry about it until you are feeling better.

pick up your fluid volume - possibly if you were vomiting you CL/K maybe low so I would suggest gatorade, its gonna take a bit just to build up to your normal fluid and electrolyte levels.
I remember after a bad bout of GI symptoms It took me 48ish hours to get back to feeling normal in the gym - just go light0
