I rode a stationary bike and covered 20 miles in 55 minutes. This site has a 'vigorous biking' option and a 'moderate biking' option. I would think my effort was vigorous as I was riding over 20mph. The 'vigorous' option says I burned 890 calories and the moderate puts me at 500 calories. Which one should I pick and how accurate are these? I do wear a heart rate monitor, but do not have a cadence device so I cant really use it to tell me the calories.

For most people, vigorous activity will give sintering in the range of 10-15 cals burned per minute of exercise. Moderate activity will be in the range of 6-10 cals per minute. Light activity is somewhere less than that.
899 cals in 55 minutes is crazy high abd probably not achievable for the average person.0
