Dinner out with hubby

Mike and I tried a new place tonight and as much as I was looking forward to it, I was dreading the calories I would most likely consume. It isn't a chain, so I didn't have the benefit of looking up the detrimental calorie count before hand.

Turns out, it was easy to be reasonably good. I had a blackened shrimp wrap with goat cheese, spinach and pico de gallio and slaw. Lemon and water to drink. I left feeling fully satisfied and all together pleased with my dinner choice.

I threw in a 30 minute workout when I got home.....just in case. ;)

Good job! I'm going to a restaurant tomorrow where there were no brunch items (except for a fruit platter) under 1000 calories. So I called the restaurant and found out their lunch menu is available and that they have ahi tuna tacos that are 500 calories - it really helps when you can plan ahead.

That's great that you worked out afterwards!
