walking vs weather

Was not able to walk my regular 20-30 minutes today. The wind was bone-chilling. I am really disappointed that this happened. I have been doing so good!!!!!

    I can't walk outside due to weather so, I ran up and down the stairs! It burned more calories than my walk yesterday!

    I sold my treadmill just before Christmas. Now I'm walking unto 12km a day.

    Fine during Summer, but I'm really going to regret selling it come Winter :(

    Do other cardio in the house like jump rope (even just the motion), wide and small arm circles, jumping jacks, dancing for 20 minutes, it'll burn around the same calories or sometimes more as a walk.

    also when i can't get outside i go OCD on cleaning my apartment, hauling laundry, scrubbing floors and counters and vacuuming can really work up a sweat and burn calories...and it's productive.

    I use Leslie Sansone DVDs when I cannot walk outside. Someone told me you can find her on YouTube as well! She is silly, but I love her!

    Walk inside...a brisk walk in place for 15 minutes is about a mile!
