Glycosuria/ Glucosuria/ renal diabetes feeling dizzy

I have a genetic condition affecting my kidneys. My renal threshold of glucose is particularly low which basically means that my kidneys wash out a lot of glucose even if my blood glucose levels are normal.

Does anyone else have this condition? Since I started working out more and looking after the amount of food I eat (only about 2 weeks) I feel dizzy quite often. Just wondering whether my kidneys could have something to do with this? And if anyone else has this as well?

I am not familiar with this condition...but would slightly increasing your sugar intake help? If you're depleting your stores by working out maybe this option could help? Definitely ask your doctor, though :)

My sugar intake is always higher than it should be anyway :D
I did plan to see my doctor... but I was just wondering if there were others like me on here... but I know it's very rare.
And thanks for the reply ;)
  • I believe I have the same disease your describing called renal glycosuria. I work out also everyday and I also expierience dizziness all the time. Not when I'm working out but sometimes just standing I'll get dizzy and then everytime I stand up from sitting I get really dizzy. My blood sugar level is normal maybe a point or two higher than normal but nothing serious.
