Heart rate monitor + pedometer

I'm looking for a HRM watch that also works as a pedometer. I'm willing to get a GPS-enabled watch such as the Garmin models since I also run outdoors. But it's confusing which GPS watch also works indoors.

I used to use a clip on pedometer plus a separate HRM watch. I''m hoping to get a watch that combines the two.

Any recommendations?

    Suunto watches work with a foot pod (attached to your trainers and work like a pedometer) and also a GPS pod.

    You won't get a gps to work indoors, certainly not with any accuracy.

    By indoors do you mean treadmill? If so the Suunto footpod would work, but I'd just go by the distance given on the treadmill.

    I do run on treadmills. But I also do other stuff like Insanity and am just curious how many steps I take throughout the workouts.

    I think some of the Garmins also have the food pod option. I'm by no means set on a Garmin. It's just so happens that Garmin is the one I've been researching.

    I find the Garmin and the Polar models to be a little confusing.

    I'll look into the Suuntos too.
