Secret weightloss mission?

Anyone trying to lose weight in secret? Such as not telling co-workers or family and maybe waiting for them to notice the changes on their own?
Do you think doing it secretly is easier or harder than making others aware of what you are trying to accomplish. For me, my family knows, but my co-workers do not. I have no idea but I just choose to keep my co-workers out the loop and they are really nice as most of them go to the gym during their lunch hour. I think it might be more exciting for me if they notice the change themselves.

In the beginning, I wasn't keeping the "mission" secret per se, but I didn't really volunteer any info simply because many people are well-meaning but say the most idiotic or demotivational things. Sure, rationally I know to just ignore them, but that can be difficult in the moment, so why open myself up to it? Now, much further along in my "journey", I still don't volunteer info except with very close friends who share similar concerns because everyone wants to know the "secret" and I'm tired of repeating the same thing that anyone with access to the Google can find out for their damned selves: lifestyle change. I think its a good idea to keep your weight loss mission a secret from your co-workers. I'm the private type of person as well. When I'm doing something, I usually don't tell other people right away. I also usually start with just the closest people. I would say it would cause more fuss if you tell your co-workers. Just let the results speak for itself. When you start losing weight, they will notice and they would start asking questions. Save yourself all that hassle in the beginning. Also, I don't know if you are like me. But I usually accomplish more tasks when I focused independently. If you have that type of personality, then keep it secret for a while longer.0

Mine is a secret, except for on here lol. I think I chose to do it this way because I am not just trying to lose pounds. I am trying to lose all of the emotions that are attached to each one of those pounds and the emotions that caused me to gain those pounds. I know that it is going to take a lot of time and a complete lifestyle change to accomplish this. So I decided it would be best to do it secretly. Though I can't wait for people to start noticing when the weight starts dropping. :happy:0

I didn't tell anyone when I started because I was too worried I would fail....again. Once you start losing more and changing your habits, it wont be a secret for long.0
