Weight loss and face wrinkles not a good thing!

Hey guys we all know that with considerable weight loss our bodies go through some changes. I know I can help myself by exercising and lifting to look my best but my face has also lost weight and now there are wrinkles that were not there before.
Just today a family member said to me "you need to stop losing, every additional ounce you lose will be noticeable in your face"!
I still want to lose 8 more pounds. You guys have any tips on how to minimize sagging face skin?
I will appreciate any suggestions.

I've lost a lot of weight and am 38 yrs old. I look younger with less wrinkles than when I started! All credit goes to Lancôme Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate. The stuff is AWESOME!!!0

I wish I did!
My old face is started to sag before I started losing the little bit of weight I've recently dropped.
Here's my suggestion, remember how happy you are that you lost the weight, and SMILE!0 -
Smiling makes it look like the wrinkles should be there..lol It's a trade-off and I'll take the wrinkles.0

Love this! I was having the same thoughts about my own wrinkly old face and this puts it into perspective nicely!0 -
Thanks for the responses! I guess I'll consider these wrinkles as a medal for fighting the battle of the bulge....lol0

I have it too and I used to have perfect skin. Very disheartening, but the alternative is worse!0

Have you thought about trying facial exercises? I bought the Eva Fraser book off of Amazon after reading nothing but positive comments about it (from real people I'd encountered on forums etc around the web who were just mentioning it in passing, without an affiliate link, which makes a change!). I think it was only a couple of quid, but being the kind of dynamic, go-getting person who eventually pitches up on a fitness site with close on 60lbs to lose, naturally the only exercise I got from it was by flicking through it and putting it away
I keep meaning to drag it out again and make use of it. I very much doubt that it would do much to get rid of actual wrinkles (although maybe it might make them shallower), but I think it would be effective in lifting up a face that's shown itself to be heading south once the layer of fat that was hiding the evidence has been removed. I don't see how that would be any different from toning up flabby tummy skin with exercise, and I've seen enough proof on here that that can be done. It's just muscles under skin, only in a different place.
I don't think it demanded much commitment timewise either (something like ten minutes a day). Maybe worth looking into?0 -
Yeah, I think if you're over 35, best to avoid losing too much fat. For me ~21-20% is a good number. Face looks better at 23% if I'm honest, but I don't like it elsewhere. Tradeoffs!0

Hmmm....facial exercise....makes sense to me. I will definitely look into that....thanks for the suggestion!0
