Yoga Meltdown

I just did Jillian Michaels yoga Meltdown this morning and want to know how to log it. It is hard work, not gentle yoga. Lots of planks and yoga moves, only intensified. It is quite a workout.

I am glad you liked it.. I managed to do 3 days of it and then wanted to go back to my regular type workout... The "camel" was the worst.. I felt like I was doing it wrong the whole time.. LOL

I love the Yoga Meltdown! I would maybe log it as calisthenics since it is pretty aerobic and lots of movements. Anyone else have any thoughts?
  • Unfortunately, I don't have any better suggestions. Since I've gotten my HRM, I just use it for my calories. I will add that I am doing both Ripped in 30 W1 and Yoga Meltdown L1 (one in a.m. and one in p.m.) and my YM calorie burn is only about 100 calories less than RI30, so it definitely burns some calories! The programs are the same length of time.

I haven't done that one- but went to a "Yoga Flow" class here for a while that was similar (it sounds) and I loved it. I just logged it as "yoga" and figured it would be a little underestimate of calories burned but that was OK with me. Anyway sounds like something I would like since the Yoga Flow teacher now left. Is it available online?

Last time I did this workout ( a few weeks ago) I got a headache! I don't get headaches with my other workouts.

I take the yoga calories and double the calories. That's what I do anyways.
