Help! I only have 500 calories left for the day. It is 6PM on saturday night! I want to go out and have fun and drink of course but I also want to eat especially a cupcake. What can I do? Which drink has the least calories and will effect me the least?? Any cupcake and hummus recommendations? Will drinking sabotage my weeks of work? I weigh in Monday!

Gawd!! ditch the cupcake and limit yourself to 4 drinks, if youre drinking a spirit, mix it with diet soft drink. And all alcohol will affect you as it slows down your metabolism.
We all need to go out and have fun, just have a good night!
drink heaps of water tomorrow to flush the booze out of your system0 -
A half pint of rum is 480 calories. Enjoy the liquid dinner.0

^^^^Check this out. It's a "get drunk not fat" infographic
(and remember that mixers add a lot more unnecessary calories and sugar to an already unnecessary beverage. Stick with tonic water, diet colas, etc)0 -
Whenever this happened to me I would work out quickly to burn extra calories! Is that a good way to handle these situations?0

I personally wouldn't recommend cupcakes and hummus. Not together, ew. LOL
One night of going over isn't going to ruin or undo your progress. Don't go crazy, but have your cupcake, have a drink or two (try to drink a glass of water in between maybe?), and enjoy yourself. Then get back on track tomorrow.0 -
Eat 1/2 cupcake. Drink lite Beer or have 1 mixed drink & stretch it out, then drink water & have another drink & stretch that out. Do lots of talking & laughing & mingle a bunch & soon that drink in your hand isn't all that important because you're having loads of FUN! Who says you have to drink alot to have FUN, jus sayin.... :happy:0

Why are you losing weight?? Do you NEED to meet your goal in a certain time frame or can you be happy with taking the night off? Imo have fun, eat some protein, eat half the cupcake, drink vodka w a low cal mixer, and exercise a lot tomorrow.0
-
and if you're going to be dancing, that can burn a lot of cals0

Such a first world problems post.
Just go have fun. Up your exercise tomorrow if you want.0 -
How is this an emergency????!!! Just have a drink and eat a cupcake......one night won't ruin weeks of hard work.0

I think you should just enjoy your night!
If you stress about what you can and can't eat you are going to have a miserable time. Just make tmrw a good day.
However for drink choices I usually go with Vodka water lime. The calories aren't as bad.0 -

Shots!
If you go over your calories, so what. It won't ruin all your hard work. You may be a little bloated Monday though if you have too much sodium.0 -

I'm confused as to why you need to drink to have fun - are your friends uninteresting?
However - just have fewer drinks. Skip the frou frou girly stuff - that's where a lot of calories are hiding. Have the cupcake.0 -

Don't have the cupcake. Drink low-cal.
In the future, when you're planning to go out that night, make sure you stick to low cal during the day, and do a workout so that you save some calories for going out and drinking with friends.
People chastising her for drinking... seriously? Were you never young?0 -

^^ I second this.0 -
For drinks, I usually have citrus gin (Blade is a good one) with lime juice mixed in with a lemon rind. Verrrrry low calorie and very drinkable.0
-
Vodka and diet tonic with lime. 90cals, no carbs0

2nd Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us,
so that in him we
righteousness of God.
Jesus lived his life, gave his life, and rose from death for us.
He defeated sin, defeated death and defeated everything we could
Never do on our own. Without him we are lost and this life is meaningless but how beautiful
It is that he died for us,bridging the gap to God that we couldn't.

I agree with the others that advocate sticking to hard liquor. Vodka, whiskey, bourbon and diet of some sort will limit your calories to about 75 per drink and have almost no carbs. That'll give you about 5 or 6 drinks if you don't eat or drink anything else.
Good luck and have fun...!0 -

Jesus drank wine, and he also told people, more than once, not to judge. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone," eh? It's nice that you believe the way you do, but don't shove it down other people's throats, please.0
