New here. 1200 calories whatever or 1200 low carb.

Hi all.

My name is Amy and I am starting my weight loss on Monday. I have a wedding and reunion at the end of July and I would like to lose 34 lbs.

I am 5'1" and weigh 144 lbs. I am small boned and was always thin before kids and Hashimoto's disease. I am also handicapped due to Lyme disease (my left side is super weak). I cannot use my left arm and my left leg drags.

I can't walk more than 10 steps without aid. No running or walking for me. I joined Planet Fitness and can do the recumbant bike and the ellipticle. I can also do most of the weight stations. Basically I can do enough exercise to lose weight.

I can't decide wether to eat a low carb/Paleo diet or just eat what I want as long as it does not exceed 1200 calories.

Please share your ideas and thoughts.
