I track my caloires, weigh and measure almost all of my food and can't seem to add any serious weight, I will gain a pound and then lose it a week later. Any one else have this problem? I know I will figure it out and continue to eat more and more but I never thought it would be so hard to gain weight. Any advice besides eat more?(just lost a little over a pound at 3,000 cals a day the past 2 weeks)

Looks like you are under your calories on lots of days, and you are under on carbs. Eat more sounds trite, but looking at your diary, it makes sense.
Good luck!0 -

that's the only advice.
you can also try GOMAD http://stronglifts.com/gomad-milk-squats-gallon-gain-weight/0 -
if 3000 is a problem, bump to 3500 or 4000. Eat dirty if you need to just to see how it works. 4000 cals of shakes, chicken and rice is suck.0

Yeah I really don't like milk enough to drink a gallon a day, id rather add a half pint of ben and jerrys a day then all that milk0

I couldn't gain without doing gomad. I also like eating a whole pint of ice cream every day when bulking.0

Not when one's goal is to put on a large amount of muscle.0 -

Yep some people don't realize that putting on musle mass can be just as hard as cutting0 -
My boyfriend has this problem. He needs to eat 5000-6000 calories a day to gain. He'll go through about a half a box of cereal, half a box of pasta, one or two pints of ice cream, some sort of fast food, some sort of meat/fish, and usually a weight gainer drink. Some people say they don't believe in "hard gainers" and that they just aren't eating enough but I see the way he eats and he still has problems gaining.0

Not sure if you have a jack in the box in your area, but with like 3-4 bucks you can get about 2k calories.
Aye. Hardee's/Carl's Jr. is much the same way, though slightly more pricey (not much).0
