I need a good warm up to do before I walk my mile...I can't walk it as fast as I would like due to cramps. So any advice on a warm up or anything I can do before I walk would be great!

Walking is usually the warm-up... I'd say just walk at a leisurely pace for 5 minutes and then get goin'. I walk for 5 minutes at a fairly normal pace and then go straight into running and then back down. I haven't had any cramps or anything. :)

Thanks I'll try that and try drinking more water before I walk!

If you get cramps during any kind of workout, it's one of a few things: you ate too much, you ate too close to a workout, you drank TOO much water, you're not drinking enough water, or there's a medical problem. I'm usually okay if I eat about 2 hours before I workout and I've been drinking all day (and peeing all day) and I usually drink a total of 24 oz. during my run/walk if that gives you any kind of indication of how much you should or shouldn't drink. :) I used to GUZZLE water right before I ran and would get horrible cramps - bad idea!!
