I went on a cruise. FYI- dont ever go on a cruise if it will totally bum you out to gain back a few pounds.. gained back about 4 lbs. Was at 207, Came back at 211. I could see the all important 199.9 right around the corner but now it will take a little longer. Well, here I go again.....

I can definately relate. We just got back from a cruise (1/21 - 1/25). My wife and I were feeling pretty good about our weight loss after just starting calorie count and MFP 10 days pre-cruise. I had lost 8 lbs, wife lost 5 lbs. Post cruise weigh in was +6 lbs and +3 lbs respectively. We had a good time but I couldn't stay away from the ice cream machine and didn't set foot in the gym.
The good news is we have both recovered and are continuing our weight loss journey. Small set back but refocused.

You need to enjoy yourself on holiday and go with the flow I think. The thing is you know you can lose the weight - it may now take longer to get to your goals but try to put in behind you and carry on. Don't let it de-motivate you - you can do this.0

Yes, the ice cream machine is hard to resist. And, really, a gym on a cruise ship? I guess there are a few diehard fanatics that go to a gym on a cruise. I am not defeated. I am trudgeing on. Already lost 3 lbs.. Just cant wait to get to that 199.9 Havent been in the 100's for ...uh... I dont even know. probably 15 yrs.0
