Ok so one of the most terrifying moments i have to go through.. is getting on the scale it really depresses me i know i sound lame but seriously thinking that you look fine (to feel confident) and then seeing the scale proving you wrong ...hurts!!! last time i got on the scale i discovered i had gained 12 KILOGRAMS! i was so shocked and hurt and annoyed then i lost a bit of weight but i didn't get back on that scale and now it feels like im gaining some of tht weight back because of winter and the boredom of having to staty home. Of course i will jpoin a gym real soon to get back on track being on mfp gives me hope. Anyone experienced this before and wht shall i do?! my bones are kinda big i have a medium frame and i have muscle but also fat! tht's why my weight is too much it sucks! i wish i was petite or something. I need to know my weight to count my cals. Thank you in advance for your help

You are whatever weight you are regardless of whether or not you stand on the scales. It merely gives you the benchmark by which you measure your success.

The scale is not always my best friend, but that along with other tools keeps me accountable. I can't change what I choose to be in denial about. The scale removes the denial factor. Rely on your other tools too though. (tape measure, how you feel, your clothes and how they fit/how you want them to fit, etc.) The scale is only one factor. Overall, your health is the most important thing so it is up to you if you believe the scale helps you reach the state of health that is desirable for you.0
