I would say eat your maintenance calories plus the 300-500 cal extra for the baby. 1500 cal is a deficit amount. Don't worry if you eat clean and do light workouts, the weight will just come off after the baby is born. I weighed the same as my pre pregnancy self after both of my pregnancies.
I gained my weight sitting around the house and eating after they were born.
If you don't eat enough your body will make you eat more than you want. Hormones are funny that way. Plus, Morning sickness typically happens when you are hungry.
