Hello! I was wondering if you could give me ideas/tips on how to avoid eating non-stop due to anxiety? I've applied to a program and results are posted tomorrow at 9am! I'm super nervous and just want to eat out my entire house. Thankfully it's a blizzard out there so I can't go buy more tasty snacks but I can't exactly get out of the house either! Thanks in advance ) oh! And keep your fingers crossed for me )

Start something that will keep hands and mind occupied. Anything. Iron all your clothes. Whatever it takes.0

Good luck!
Is there anything else you can do to keep busy?
If you really do feel like you need to put something in your mouth... Do you have any gum handy? That could keep your mouth occupied without adding (many) calories. Also, drinking water could help (still putting something in your mouth but not adding calories). Snacking on celery all day also wouldn't do too much damage.
Also, do you have any ways of exercising at home? Exercise DVD or exercise bike? That way, if you do eat some extra calories, you could also burn them off.0 -
Iron all my clothes.
Actually, exercise is great for anxiety - do jumping jacks, push ups, dips, leg lifts, burpees, dance to a favorite CD.0
