Teens: shoplifted a pair of workout gloves from Target; vandalism (the usual eggings, toilet papering, drive-by fruitings); fights; underage drinking.

20s: a few recreational drug uses; chronic criminal speeder; slashed a guy's tire once in a road rage incident; a few fights here and there, never charged with anything... thankfully.

30s: chronic criminal speeding when the kids aren't in the car; a few fights here and there... still lucky enough to have never been charged with anything.

In my defense, all fights were either in my defense or in a friend's defense. I don't start fights but I'm happy to oblige all comers.

Speeding... of course it doesn't help that I don't live in a speed trap city... I stole things when I was like 9 or so... my mom caught me and stopped me real quick though, so I haven't since.... and I did a little bit of drinking while underage, though my parents didn't resrict the access to it and they drank a glass/bottle/beverage here and there all while growing up so it really wasn't a mystery to me and I wasn't inclined to go drinking to excess outside of our home with friends.

I jaywalk on the rare occasion, I drank before I was 18, and I once (accidently) took nail polish from a drug store without paying for it. My hands were full and I was wearing a hoodie so I put it in my pocket, later on I couldn't remember what I did with it so I ended up buying a second one and not realising until later the original one was in my pocket. I felt really bad about it :frown:

Oh I forgot about jaywalking... I do that all the time, even in front of the police officers.

I absolutely should have been arrested several times in my life...I have this knack for not getting caught or not getting in trouble when I do. Now I pretty much only drive too fast...

    Ok...I think that's it..

I was quite a little rebel when I was younger.
    Played some mailbox baseball
    Speeding
    Underage drinking
    Did way too many drugs
Stole a couple street signs (never a stop sign though, too dangerous for others)

Certain laws are meant to be "bent"

    - crypto laws - broke several of those in the US and EU
    - border and transport laws, yep, since the age of 18
    - controlled substance laws - I'd say that a couple of suitcases of Schedule II pain relievers prepared and transported as "personal affairs" into Armenia after the earthquake - sure (I only packaged, I wasn't the mule)
    - prescription laws in at least 5 countries
    - telecom laws of India pertaining to "national security"
    - money exchanges laws, sure.
    - packaging and labeling regulations on biological material, ah, yep.
    - TSCA and PICCS, maybe?
    - quite a few others.
    - German bike laws, poaching laws, most frequently.

I've only spent one night in jail but it was unrelated to any of the above.

And somewhere along the way I was in the NCIS system as "missing" for a few weeks. I got stopped at an airport for that. Stupid databases.

Yes, when I was 13. I was put through a juvenile diversion program, and it was effective (it had a profound impact on me). Never as an adult.

Of course, but getting caught is another story

In my teens...I drank, smoked and did all of the usual bad things.

    As a grown-up though I'm pretty much a goody-two-shoes.

no felon stuff, all little in my younger days, now just the "typical" traffic stuff (never over 5 more than posted, use my turn signal and seat belt ALWAYS)
