Hello all!
I'm 22, 12 days from 23! I'm a uni student in Central Cali. I'm set to graduate with my BA at the end of the current student, and then hopefully off to law school!
A year ago i started to diet with MyFitnessPlan and lost about 25 pounds through calorie counting and running/pilatese. But family tragedy struck and i got sidetracked from it. But with my impending graduation, I want to lose weight, I want to look good in my graduation pictures and most importantly, i want to be able to wear all those trendy clothes i see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm trying to get inspired by one of my favorite Indian actors, Amitabh Bachchan, who, at 70, is healthier then me!
I need support, I need laughs and I need someone to kick my *kitten*!

First off CONGRATULATIONS for losing 25 pounds! i need to lose just over 20 and would love some insight on how to do it.
And for the looking good in clothes and things i completely understand!

It's all about the mentality I think. It's about getting off your butt when you're feeling lazy, it's about slapping your wrist when you're reaching for something you know you shouldn't eat.
Also, I'm a firm believer in knowledge is power. I learned a lot about how food works on your body- what calories mean, what protein does, why fiber is important. All of these things really help in successfully losing weight because you realize you have to think about what's going into your body.0 -
