Striiv or Runtastic Pro

Hello,

I walk a lot and have been using the Striiv free app because it syncs with MFP. Recently I stated using the runtastic apps for squats, situps and pushups. Also got the runtastic pro which I'm sure is a great app if you're running, I'm just not sure if it would be a great app if you're just walking. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks!

    i don't know much about the two apps you mentioned, but i use runkeeper when i go walking. it GPS tracks me, tracks my time, distance etc, can sync with my HRM, and has a bunch of other nifties.

    1 vote for Runtastic. Use it almost everyday for walking.

    It was free just recently, so was their Squats app. Keep an eye out. They go free now and again.

    Its got me from 1km walks to 12km walks in 5 weeks. Updates to MFP.


    I also use Runtastic - Situps app. Great trainer.

    C25K - Couch to 5K is ready for when i feel im upto the challenge.
