    This month I am:
    Doing the 30 day shred
    not weighing myself
drinking 8 glasses of water (at least) each day
and not eating 'bad' foods after 8pm.

The goals I am looking forward to are:
Staying in a good routine so that I will have made some good progress for summer (and the dredded bathing suits haha!!)
Looking better/thinner when I see my extended family and friends this summer (again with the swimming suits!)
And going down a size in jeans so that I have an excuse to buy a new pair from Maurices!!! (which I do like once a year because they are always so expensive!!)

To fit back into my favorite, broken in, very sexy Arizona jeans with the 38 inch waist. I think I'll be there before the end of February! I have SO missed them.

To finish my 10th half marathon in under 2:20 (that's in April)

To be with my friend when she finishes her first half marathon in July. Don't care how long it takes us, I just want to see her cross the finish line! I was lucky enough to have a friend do this for me on my first half and I'm thrilled I get to "pay it forward" and do it for another friend.

To try kayaking and/or white water rafting this summer.

I've made an oath to myself not to step on the scale for 3 months. I'm trying to build muscle, so I'm using measuring tape once a month. So far, doing great! First measurement to be taken on the 21st! This is almost more of a willpower exercise than physical ;)

I'm almost to the end of my pregnancy, so the big one is to finish it out healthy. I hit my biggest pregnancy goal by not gaining 50 pounds or more. I haven't even gained 20 pounds. As of today's weigh in, I haven't even gained 15 pounds. I'm pretty proud of myself.

My goals for post-baby fitness are:

    1) Reach and beat lowest weight as an adult, which was 227 pounds
    2) Run 10 minutes straight with the jogging stroller
    3) Beat least year's highest mileage bike riding, which was 20.52 miles.
    4) Officially be out of the plus size department. I was almost there.

Completing my first 10K in May!
and then start training for my second triathlon in September!
Having active goals help me get through tough anniversaries (loss of a loved one's) and to continue to Celebrate my Life!
After years of being a slave to the scale, something has clicked and I am over it! There is no finish line when it comes to our health...
Even when we hit that "magic #" you have to keep on movin' so we might as well enjoy the ride!

I like this idea - baby goals :-) By July 4th weekend I want to be down one pant size. I don't know what that relates to in pounds but I was cleaning in the attic and found a whole bin of clothes that are a size smaller. I want to wear them this summer!

before I only did 30 minutes and it was not everyday.
Now I try for around 5 days a week!
pretty proud of myself for that.
