Anybody use the Fitbit Aria Scale? What is your thoughts or experience with it? I have a Fitbit One.

I've been using one for a few weeks now. No issues so far (knock on wood). The convenience of syncing to MFP is nice & so's having the body fat measurements if you're worried more about building muscle than losing weight.
  • I have one, it's great.
Step on it, it recognises you (by weight and bodyfat approx I guess) and uploads automatically to fitbit website which syncs to here.

    However...

It seems to me to be designed for a hard level floor. I get very inconsistent results on just the thinnest of carpet, a problem I didn't have with my Salter glass scale which has 4 separate proper feet. The problem with the Aria is the design of the feet, there aren't any, just four gently curved bumps on the bottom which don't work so well unless on a level hard floor.

As I weigh myself daily if the weight has gone up or down by 1lb or more I move the scale around and do a couple more weigh ins and accept the one closest to yesterdays weight (be it up or down). If they just put 4 proper feet on the bottom it would work a lot better imho. But I still like it. :)

Definitely. That seems to be more true for most electronic scales that for traditional scales, although some are a lot more forgiving than others.
