Hi everyone!
I've been into fitness pole dancing for a little over a year, and my school schedule is about to become hectic enough that I can't be consistent with classes. I really want to get a pole for my place, but I'm so nervous!! I live in an apartment and I'm terrified of the pole falling over and breaking stuff. I've heard and read tons of good recommendations about the X-Pole and I'll likely get one of theirs, but has anyone had one fall? Would you recommend getting an X-pole? Or should I just wait until I can afford my own house so I'm only going to break stuff I own? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :flowerforyou:

I don't have an XPole. The one I got was from platinum stages but it seems to be similar. Any way with regards to it falling down it did do that to me once and I was able to catch it before it hit the ground or do any damage. Let me tell you it was very startling to be in the middle of a spin and have it come popping off the beam it was on! Since then my husband made a permanent (yet removable) top for it to screw in to.

If you get one I suggest you get the one that is static and has the pin to pop on the bottom so the pole spins. Mine is like that and while I don't particularly like the spinning pole it does make it easier to do some moves.

Thank-you for your advice :) I've heard Platinum Stages is another really good quality brand. I LOVE spin mode so I'd definitely be getting one with the spinning option!

I have a Lil Mynx in my apartment. My boyfriend installed it for me - just one screw in to a ceiling joist and the rest is tension. It has never budged. I love having my own pole.
