Hello, I want to become more fit.

My name is DJ Chadwick I'm 26 years old, 5 ft 9, and 172lbs. I want to be at 150, and I want to live a healthy life, and stop being so lazy. Before I was eating really unhealthy. I've never been into sweet, chocolates though so no problems there. I love pasta, and potatoes so a lot of starches. Italian food is my favorite. I use to eat sunny eggs, sausage, and home fries or grits with my breakfast. I use to drink LOADS of soda everyday. I try to drink 1 a day at least and the rest of the day have water or milk something healthy. I'm not big into cheeseburgers either. I eat eggs whites, oats, turkey bacon(When I want bacon), and a fruit with my breakfast now. Lunch I eat Healthy Choices with fruit. I get hungry during the day I make carrot stick and much on those. Before I would want PB & J, and stuff like that. I've stop eating white bread, and I've started eating whole grain bread. I've learned how to read the calories on nutrition fact now properly. I never realized how many calories, and fat were in some of the food I was eating or junk food. I use to love to eat Sausage and Potato casserole, but I haven't had that in quite some time. I want to be able to run 2 miles like it's nothing like I use to be able to. I use to able to run 2 miles in the 13 min time frame. Now I'm lucky if it's not in the 17s.

I'm embarrassed I've gotten out of shape. I did how ever lose 15lb when i was deployed to Iraq. I came home at 150lbs.
