I am proud because I went to a meeting today. There were several booths set up I had to visit and check off of. Each and everyone of them had a bowl of candy on it. And I didn't take a single piece.

And at work last weekend every single night they ordered pizza and had cakes and cookies. Not a single bite. And it wasn't easy either. I work the night shift at a busy hospital and this is a normal thing. I think we all eat terrible and we eat and run and at night ordering out is the best we can get.

Anyway, my mini success. pretty darn proud of myself because I really really really wanted one of those little candy bars:love:

WTG at resisting those foods!! Keep up the good work and you should be proud that is a huge accomplishment.
  • I, too, sat at my desk this morning with two boxes of donuts and two boxes of bagels staring at me....My desk is at the front of the office, and it has unfortunately become the central location for goodies to be stored....difficult...but man do I feel great when I just glare right back at them and eat my apple :) Congrats on being victorious!!!
  • Congrats! :D Cant say I've resisted anything this week (well, maybe a little...), hopefully that shall change!

Congrats! These mini success are the things that keep us going. I work at a high school and people are always bringing things in. One of our parent volunteers in guidance brought in massive, homemade, chocolate cupcakes. I caved and ate a small sliver but really, I'm pretty proud that I didn't eat the entire cupcake. I think I would have fallen off the wagon completely if I had. And honestly, I've been without that stuff for so long now (about a month) that a sliver was all it took and I was satisfied.

Keep it up. Those temptations are hard to resist. You are doing great!

You should be proud!!! I've worked shows like that and its like a constant test of your strength. Doesn't it feel good when your will is stronger than your craving for chocolate goodies:) Way to go, keep it up!!

I know how you feel! I work for a non-profit organization that runs a restaurant (among other things) and the days I work at the restaurant it is SO hard to resist eating a cookie or other sweet treat from the bakery showcase that is right by the cash register! :ohwell: I try so hard to resist temptation...but I'm guilty of occasionally indulging.

Those extra treats are getting more and more rare as I keep logging my food on MFP. I hate to see how many calories that one little candy adds!
