Struggling to eat enough

I know this may sound odd, but I'm trying to lose weight, by cutting down on meal sizes, watching what I eat and also doing some cardio exercise.
For example today I had breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack, several coffee's and water (almost 1800 calories), I'm not hungry at all but MFP is saying I still need to eat over 800 calories and this is working with a 1000 calorie daily deficit in an attempt to lose 2lbs a week.
Should I stop worrying or try eating more?

I think it depends on where you are on your journey. If you continue to eat 800 under maintenance at 1000 cals, it will become increasingly difficult to lose weight if you have to cut back more.
It sounds counterintuitive, but I think you'll respond better long-term if you up an additional 300 cals (natural peanut butter + a banana) and keep your deficit closer to 500.
That's what I'd shoot for and see how it goes.
