Just want to share my story.
My period has FINALLY come back since it last came in late July. I joined MFP in April hoping to lose a few pounds, tone up, and get ready for my sister's wedding and bathing suit season. My BMI was normal, but my clothes were getting a bit tight. Anyway, I started counting calories and exercising every day, pretty intensely. No rest days. I lost about 7 pounds, rocked my matron of honor dress and a bikini. I felt great, and my BMI was still in normal range.
Then I noticed my period went away. It stayed away too. Visited my dr. who ran lots of tests and basically said I wasn't ovulating. I told her I had changed my diet and exercise, she said that wasn't it.
Well, I know my body. I put back on a few pounds, started taking at least 1 rest day a week, and tried to relax a bit.
Today my period is back. Just wanted to warn those ladies who are in the childbearing age to be careful, and don't overdo it like I did!!
