Good news for my family and I

My brother and his fiancée had a little baby girl who was born premature, at only 4 lbs. 10 oz. Her name is Elizabeth Ann. She was in the NICU for over a month, and yesterday she was finally well enough to go home!! We are going to have a "welcome home" party for her in 3 weeks. I'm so happy to be an aunt (again)! That baby has definitely inherited my fighting spirit, that's for sure!!:bigsmile:

    Good news indeed! We went through the same with my baby. He was born with his intestines outside his body. Was in the NICU for 5 weeks. It's amazing what doctors can do these days. Very glad to hear Elizabeth Ann is doing well!

    Thats awesome! I remember how hard it was when my youngest was in the NICU he was there for exactly 100 days, he was also born premature at 26 weeks and only weighed 1 pound 14 oz..... I hope the baby is healthy and your family is happy to have that little miracle baby. I remember i was so excited when my son came home ... it was a good day:smile:

    Congratulations on Elizabeth Ann's progress. We share the same name!!:tongue:

    A good friend of mine gave birth to preemie TWINS over 3 months early. Both girls combined weighed only 3 lbs.. And I am happy to say that they just celebrated their 1 Year birthday last Saturday!! Babies can be little miracles.:bigsmile:
