The HCG Plan

Is anyone during the HCG? I have been on it for a month now. Just wanted to know if anyone else is on it too so that we can motivate each other.

Short answer...No. It's not safe. You should not do it. No one should do it.
    Get off of it now.

Try searching the groups for "HCG" you might get people who can help.

If you do find someone willing to help you do this unhealthy and potentially dangerous thing...run away from them.

    I'll help:

My friend went to the ER TWICE on this "diet." (I'm not sure why she didn't learn the first time.) And she is now pissed because she has metabolic damage and can't lose the last 20 lbs of fat she's been hanging on to forever.

If you search for this you will notice all of the groups are blocked. That is bc it is extremely unhealthy and against MFP rules and what the site promotes. You should really look into the side effects it causes, it's not worth it at all. Plus, you will gain everything back along with a hormonal screw up package.

Sweetheart, you are young and beautiful and you have about 25 pounds to lose? Get off that stuff. The reason you lose weight on it is because you are seriously undereating. Don't damage your body - it could be irreversable.

I doubt that, you wouldn't be on it right now if you did any type of research...

    1) did you pass high school level science?

    2) does it make any logical sense that this diet theorizes that not only will pregnancy hormones make you thin, but that chapstick and lotion will make you fat?

    There's your sign.

doesn't sound like you did your research.

Follow the rather simple format MFP provides. Forget the HCG.

The HCG is a hormone found in pregnancy excreted in the urine. This hormone is not unsafe. The diet you follow with it is. I wish u success my friend. Do not listen to negative comments. We have all tried things that failed. That is why we are here:)

The hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), is detected in urine and blood pregnancy tests.

    :noway:

HCG is a homeopathic drug. HCG is a hormone that is produced by the human placenta during pregnancy!!
HCG is approved by FDA as a prescription drug for the treatment of female infertility, and other medical conditions. It is not approved for weight loss. In fact, the prescription drug label notes there “is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or ‘normal’ distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.”

HCG is not approved for OTC sale for any purpose.

I was once very blind to this also so I understand you may feel as though you are being attacked by everyone. It is solely for your main benefit though and you should look and dig deeper into your research.
