A Healthy Hangover?

Hi all... Only been here a few days so just looking for some tips.

I'm a student so as you can imagine I enjoy the odd night out with friends - I'm in my final year so incredibly busy so these don't actually happen all that often but we went out last night and this morning I was just craving everything bad!!

I wanted all my standard hangover food - but I had an egg to try and be healthy which just didn't hit the spot! I needed something sweet and my naughty hangover cure has always been chocolate milkshake so there I was - milkshake in one hand, flapjack in the other. Fell in love for a few minutes of eating it - followed by instant regret. It's all logged now so it seems an overly healthy dinner is on the menu!

It's my birthday coming up and we're having a house party - I was hoping for some ideas of food or remedies people can recommend to get me through the hangover without just eating...... well crap!

Thaaaanks in advance guys! x

Losing weight isn't about eating healthily. It's just about logging everything and sticking to a deficit. You could theoretically eat nothing but chocolate bars each day as long its less than your TDEE you'll lose weight. Just because something's healthy doesn't also mean it'll have less cals either.

Obviously I'm not promoting you eat crap all the time, you just need a balance and to eat unhealthy foods in moderation.

Don't think because you've had something bad you need to counter it with good, or burst into exercise to wear it off!

As long as your not doing that everyday have what you want for breakfast, just log it all. Usually when people are hungry they are really needing fluid, especially after a night out. Drink a pint of water when you get cravings, then eat if hungry.
