you can push a heavy weight for low reps and not feel sore or wiped out at all, since it's your nervous system that is being trained.

what exactly do you mean by this? ... I've sort of theorized that this is more because my CNS is able to recruite more of the muscle fibers that i already have rather then build more.

Yep - that's pretty much exactly what he means. Of course, without adding muscle mass, your CNS only has so much to work with.

Board presses? Basically so the barbell doesn't come all the way down to your chest. They supposedly - I don't do them, so I can't relate the effectiveness - help with your bench press where you get "stuck" about halfway up. One other variation is to do bench press on the floor, with a few plates under the ends of the barbell where the plates are - this way, you don't have anything on your chest, but it still works basically the same way.

Immediately after doing a set, my hands might feel shaky (This is usually for bench press or overhead press). My wrists/hands are always sore after front squat sets. That goes away in a few minutes though. After the entire workout, I feel kind of cold... because my clothes are damp in sweat. I *feel* fine, but I find out soon enough that I'm not 100% when I rejoin the class in whatever they are doing. If I have to do simple bodyweight lunges or jumping squats, I feel the muscle fatigue & burn in my legs a lot faster! And same with push-ups, my arms are a bit weakened.

When I come home I feel a bit worn out. Not sore or unable to walk, but just loose & lazy. Take a shower, then feel fine. The next day I'll have soreness in my chest, shoulders & sometimes my thighs. But nothing crazy where I can't walk right. That's only if I take a long break & then go back.

I feel like laughing and crying at the same time. I feel like jumping out a window and ripping off someone's head with my bare hands. I feel good.

I feel great and my confidence is boosted, but I also feel sore the following day. I also sometimes see myself at the mirror to see if I have developed any muscles..:happy:
