Hey so I know similar questions have been asked but I really have to ask. I had a baby about 6 months ago and I am pretty much back to pre pregnancy weight except this awful pouch on my stomach. I have been working out like 4 times a week, mixing cardio and resistance and 'trying to eat well (I generally eat well and then throw it all away on an occasional junk food binge). I have two questions though. Since working out I see my stomach getting wider and it is extremely discouraging so I want to throw in the towel since I seem to be getting wider not thinner. Does anyone have any experience with this? could it be temporary? I was hoping there would be someone with the same experience to give advice. Also, are there some people who will just never get rid of that baby gut no matter how hard they try? I have friends who had babies and they either lose it right away or it sticks. Any advice PLease please let me know

I don't have a baby, but what I will say, is the ones it sticks on, are the ones who quit and throw in the towel, even the oens who seem to lose it right away, unless you have seen them topless, you don't necessarily know what is going on under there. Are you measuring, or just going by how it looks though?0

what is your current work out program like?
I can't see your diary so can't see what your calorie intake looks like..how many calories per day are you eating?
what does the ocassion "junk food binge" consist of, and how often is it?
If you are back to pre-preganany weight and still have "a puch" it could be that you need to lift heavier to reduce body fat and increase muscle ....0 -
Are you working on core, abs, pelvic floor muscles? You might need to focus on some of these areas to tighten your stomach. But congrats on losing the baby weight.0

From what you told us, I'd blame the "throwing it all away on an occasional junk food binge" before I'd blame exercising for your problems.0
