    I think you're pretty awesome, but I agree with the others that you owe him a happy ending one way or another.

    If MY SO was complaining like that, I woulda said "Do something about it, tell me what I can do to help, or quitcher bichin!"

    I don't think worry about your significant other's health is being motherly. If you were picking out his clothes and making his lunch with the crust cut off, that would be. He really should take care of himself though!

    When I read the thread title, that's actually exactly what I expected.

    And while people should take care of themselves, sometimes they just prioritize others, and they need a gesture like this to them it's ok to prioritize themselves, too. It doesn't mean they can't look after themselves, just that they don't. The number of times I've made myself sick by prioritizing my family over myself is not even funny.
