Workout all at once or break up into morning/evening?

Common sense tells me it's probably better to do one hour of vigorous exercise all at once, but my schedule makes it hard to do. I do Jillian Michael's DVD's and she is real good about increasing your heart rate right away ( I use a monitor). Do you suppose there is a lot of difference between doing a half hour in the morning, and then a half hour at night? Can I only go by the calories burned (if I get 250 in the morning and 250 at night then that's close to what I get in a straight hour anyway)?

I always break mine up..... I honestly don't have time any other way.....
30-45 minutes at 4am
30 minutes at lunch
1 hour after work...
Trying to cut down a bit cause it seems to be hindering my weight loss though lol0
