...This is EXACTLY HOW I'VE BEEN FEELING. It's so hard to be... "healthy". It seriously has started to overwhelm me. I just recently said **** it, and I'm eating things I like and that I think are pretty healthy, and eating when I'm hungry... I'm tired of over thinking everything. This is a good read, very relatable. :D

I'm tired of over-thinking everything, too. I think I understand the basic principles of good nutrition, at least to my satisfaction, as in it's better to get my sweet from fruit than from fruit loops, and so forth.

That was pretty good stuff. I am sure there are plenty of pompous *kitten* who will get their feelings hurt by it (or at the very least wish AIDS upon the author), but I rather enjoyed the tone.

I rarely read things random strangers post on the internet claiming they are "must reads." Yours was. Thank you.
I've been feeling like this more and more. I feel like there is some formula I have to discover to have a perfect diet, and recently found myself crying at the thought of going out to eat (the sodium, the calories, after working in a restaurant I am leery of food prep and clean conditions). Every week I go to the grocery store, spend 10 minutes looking at all the different deli meats, choose none, and then wish I had deli meat all week. i'm afraid of things if I can't read a label and know whats in it. I'm scared of preservatives. This has helped put it back in perspective, so thank you.

Ha, this is so true. There are so many weirdos on this site who think that anything that isn't lacto-fermented virgin tears is part of a conspiracy between Monstanto and the FDA to poison us all!!!!!!

I really identify with this. Its sometimes so hard to be healthy and then you discover you are in fact the unhealthiest person out there!
