unanswered emails

what is the protocol for unanswered semi-professional emails?

-how long do i wait before emailing again?
-should i try calling?
-should i show up at the office?

    What is the email regarding? If it is about employment I'd give it a week then forward the email again with the original sent date visible.
    If it is a complaint I'd again forward the original after a week. If still no reply after 48hrs I'd give them a call.

    I don't think you have to be nearly as concerned with etiquette in that situation, as opposed to other professional contacts. I'm sure you'd be fine emailing again, calling, or even going in if that's what you prefer. And congrats!

    Wait, a recruiter that isn't hounding you!!! Just email/call again maybe they need something before they can proceed. Good Luck

    turns out she had surgery and was out of the office for a bit..

    all is well and we are back in contact!

    so close to my goal, hopefully signing my contract next friday the 22nd!

    No kidding. I had to pry my recruiter from my *kitten* until the day I arrived at MEPS.
