Motivation

Hi, I'm just starting my weight loss ruitine but I keep getting plagued with self doubt and worry that it's not going to work. Any suggestions? :(

    Hi!
    Read some of the success stories on here and see how far THEY have come. The first change that everyone is made is the decision to change! That is the starting step.
    Please don't look at everyone else and think "they can do it but I won't be able to, I'm not them". There is nothing that makes you different from them except that they started slightly before you.
    Also, think to yourself 'could I do it if I had no other option?' If the answer is Yes, you can do it!

    Also, a nice way to reward yourself is to set yourself mini goals. Set yourself a lovely reward for when you reach them. For instance a manicure, a massage, a new workout outfit! Anything you wish for! You will find you work for those rewards :)

    Set a goal, write it down, be specific and then write down 20things you could do to get to that goal. At the top of the page write "How can I lose Xlbs by Y date" then answer 20 times. Force yourself to come up with 20 no matter how hard it is. I like the idea of looking at success stories. Make a list of reasons you want to lose weight. Also one of my favorite quotes "motivation doesn't last, neither does bathing that's why we recommend it daily!". YOU CAN DO THIS!
