Okay for one I am just getting started, I have done it for a little over two weeks and have lost 12 pounds so far. It may be somewhat/mostly water weight but to me a pound is a pound no matter what and I am proud of myself. I was wondering what videos everyone liked? I have over 100 pounds too get rid of so I am not in the best shape and don't have the best knees so I don't like jumping to be a big part of the video. Wondering what was best I currently have Leslie Sannson's 3 fast miles I do believe it's called and I enjoy it, then I also have Richard Simmons (I am only 20, so I don't really know the songs, kind of listened to them when I was growing up) and a Wii Fit. Also just got the Biggest Loser 30 day jump start for the library today and haven't tried it. I would not be against buying something new, please let me know you thoughts :)

I am alot like you and just had surgery so I'm on a walk only exercise program for another week. I don't know about video's but I do try to walk everyday and once I am cleared for exercise again I am going to try zumba (at my own pace) and water aerobics. Of course I live in the south so its warm enough to go swimming.
  • I just got a pilates for weight lose it has a 1,2,3 program all at once. You can follow girl 1 or 2 or 3 no jumping, slow movements, and fairly easy. I can do most of it. I have had both knees replaced am over 60 way out of shape and need to lose about 70 more lbs.
  • I have been doing Shaun T's Rockin' Body, and I like it. It's easy, but the workout is good! And, for me, with some workout videos, the time can drag on and on, but this one goes pretty quickly!

I am currently doing 30 Day Shred, and so far I am really liking it, and the only real jumping activities are jumping jacks and jump rope mimics, neither of which have put strain on my knees. (The lunges do though, I hate lunges. lol) But I am only on level one, so I can't say what the next two will hold.

I strongly suggest doing Just Dance if you have a wii :) It is really fun, and pretty exhausting if you do it the way you are supposed to!!!
  • Try the Just Dance or Dance Central games for the Wii. You can modify the moves and it's fun!
