Walking versus other cardio

I noticed that I sweat more when I am walking or running or doing an aerobics class Then when I use the elliptical or other Mechanical cardio machines. But the other mechanical Cardio machines other than the treadmill Put me at a higher calorie burn according to my Fitness Pal what do you think?

I would get a HRM for an accurate calorie burn.. It is the only way to know for sure what you burn.

It's all estimations and gym machines are notorious for over estimating. Also the elliptical is so low impact that you might not feel it as much as other exercise even if it's doing it's job.

I would second either getting a HRM if you're worried about the estimations being too off! Either that or double check your numbers on other calorie burn sites. See what the average for your height and weight comes out to be across different estimations.

2nd. It's really easy to get lazy on the machines. I wear a heart rate monitor when I do cardio and I've noticed that my heart rate will drop if I don't keep up good form or just get lazy.

No. HRMs are estimates, just like all the other ones. No way to know which is more accurate most of the time.

Sweating (or not sweating) is not an indication of calorie burn, only that your body is trying to cool itself.
